If we Talk about Arabian Mutton Mandi, it is a traditional food of Arabian People, meat and rice mandi dish (like biryani), like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Dubai, and other Arabian countries, and His fondly eaten all over the Arabian. The meaning of Mandi, from the Arabic word NADA, which means dew and that’s why it reflects the dewy flavor of the meat used in preparing this Laham or Mutton Mandi recipe. Its precise origin is Yemen, but now it is eaten all over Asia including Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.
Laham Mandi recipe is prepared by roasting mutton from a young lamb, to further enhance its flavor. Sometimes Mandi is also prepared using chicken, but the traditional Mandi dish consists of mutton or Meat prepared in a very special underground tandoor called Taboon. Sometimes raisins, almonds, cashews, and nuts are also added for garnishing.

  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt as required
  • Black pepper 9 pcs
  • Green cardamom 6 pcs
  • 2 inches of a cinnamon stick
  • Carrots ½ cup
  • Raisin ½ cup
  • Oil
  • Cumin seeds 1.1/2Tbsp
  • Cardamom powder 1 Tbsp
  • Hot water 6 cups or as required
